American Board of Neurophysiologic Monitoring
The purpose of the ABNM is to certify the professional competency of doctoral-level practitioners to independently oversee and interpret intraoperative neurophysiological monitoring and provide patient management recommendations during surgery.
To earn the DABNM credential, candidates must meet education and neuromonitoring experience requirements and pass both written and oral examinations.

Oral Application updated to Version 5.6
The May 2026 form confirms there is no separate fee for a first oral examination — it is covered by the initial $1,600 application fee.
2027 exam schedule posted
Written and recertification exam windows for 2027, and the oral examination date in Austin, TX, are now on the exam schedule.
Application Packet Checklist corrected
The checklist now directs all case-log submissions to eforms@ptcny.com — two items previously listed an outdated address.

- Complete, sign & scan Assemble everything into one PDF packet (initial applicants also attach the two Excel case-log files).
